1. Payment Policy
- Deposit: A 25% deposit of the total rental amount is required to confirm your reservation. This deposit is due upon booking.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival date. For bookings made less than 60 days before arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Holiday Periods: For reservations during Christmas and New Year’s weeks, a 50% deposit of the total rental amount is required. The balance is due 90 days prior to arrival. Reservations made within 90 days of arrival must be paid in full within 14 days of booking. All holiday reservations are non-refundable.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Standard Cancellations:
- More than 60 Days Prior: If you cancel more than 60 days before your arrival date, your 25% deposit will be refunded, less a 15% service fee assessed against the refund amount.
- 60 Days or Less: If you cancel 60 days or fewer before your arrival date, the total rental amount is forfeited. Refunds will only be considered if the villa is re-booked for the same period. If a portion of the rental period is re-booked, a pro-rated refund will be issued.
- Holiday Periods:
- Non-Refundable: All holiday reservations (Christmas and New Year’s weeks) are non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation timing.
3. Reservation Changes
- Any changes to your reservation must be requested in writing. Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges or a re-calculated rental amount.
4. Trip Cancellation Insurance
- Luxe Island Stays by RE/MAX Island Properties recommends purchasing Trip Cancellation Insurance to protect against unexpected changes to your travel plans. Insurance coverage can help recover costs related to cancellations or interruptions due to unforeseen circumstances.
